About BCB

British Corporative Bowling (BCB) is a non-profit making and non-expense paying organisation created to promote the Sport of Tenpin Bowling inside the realms of Companies, both large and small, therefore encouraging competition between these companies in a competitive but friendly manner.

This is achieved through its organisation and running of the British Corporative Tenpin Bowling Championships and the support of British Company teams selected to participate at the Bowling European Corporative (BEC) Championships, a tournament held annually in a different country within the BEC Organisation during Ascension week.

Both tournaments are run over 4 catergories, Four Person Team,  Ladies Doubles (see note 1), Mixed Doubles and Mens Doubles (see note 2).  With the exception of the Men's Doubles where only one pairing may be entered per company, there is no limit to how many teams a Company may enter although all members of a team or doubles pairing must meet laid down eligibility criteria as defined within the BCB Statute.

Note 1 - From 2017 a Ladies doubles may consist of 2 ladies from 2 different companies

Note 2 - Mens doubles must contain 2 male bowlers from the same company

Whilst the European Finals are a SCRATCH only event, the BCB Finals encompass both Handicap and scratch elements to assist and encourage British Company teams to experience the competitiveness and hospitality offered by the European event.

We are always on the look out for Sponsors for the BCB Championships so please contact a member of the BCB Committee if you would be willing to assist or would like further details regarding the organisation.
